Union Home Minister meeting brought two Punjab heads on the same platform

The intense war of words going on between the Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit and Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann is an open secret. They were not holding cordial relations.
The relations between Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann seem to be cooling down, with both leaders beginning to soften their tone against each other and finally, a day has come when Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit and Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann will meet each other, great each other and sit together with smile on their face (may be for photo shootout). Governor Banwarilal Purohit is attending the meeting as Administrator of Chandigarh and Punjab CM is hosting the meeting.
This is going to happen at Amritsar where union home minister Amit Shah is going to chair the North Zonal Council meeting and both leaders are going to attend the meeting with other partner states leaders. Governor Banwarilal Purohit is attending the meeting as Administrator of Chandigarh.
Union Home Minister meeting brought two Punjab heads on the same platform as since last year, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Bhagwant were not meting each other, even on official functions. The only time the both leaders met for a short time was in January 2023 when two of Punjab ministers oath taking ceremony was held at Raj Bhawan.
In October 2022, President Droupadi Murmu visited Chandigarh for the first time after assuming the office of President of India. During her maiden visit to Chandigarh Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann skipped the official reception hosted by Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit . This was the first time when he skipped the meeting where by Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit was there.
Then, in January this year Governor Purohit had invited CM Mann for the civic reception ‘At Home’ being hosted by the Governor at Punjab Raj Bhawan on the occasion of Republic Day . He (Mann) again skipped the event.
Again, in August this year Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann skipped the ‘At Home’ reception hosted by the Governor at Punjab Raj Bhawan on the occasion of Independence Day. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Cabinet minister Aman Arora participated in the reception. Governor had told the media at that time that invitations for the ‘At Home’ ceremony were extended to various dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Punjab. The Chief Minister’s office duly acknowledged the receipt of the invitation. The Chief Minister opted not to attend the ‘At Home’ function, he said.
