Unique initiative by Ludhiana Police on the eve of International Mother Language Day 2023

On the eve of International Mother Language Day 2023 , CM Punjab ,Bhagwant Singh Mann, released a specially designed Clock in Ludhiana on 20.2.2023, presented to him by Commissioner of Police , Ludhiana, Mandeep Singh Sidhu IPS.
The clock has beautiful engraved numbers and 35 letters of Punjabi alphabet in Gurmukhi script and has *”Ma boli saada maan”* slogan in the bottom . CP briefed that this clock would be a 24*7 reminder of staying connected with our mother language *Punjabi*.
To highlight the day 21st Feb,2023, a special programme is being held in the police lines of the Commissionerate where all GOs and SHOs shall be presented the replica of the released clock so that these can be placed in their respective offices. It is worth mentioning here that the whole ludhiana police team has been instructed to wear their name badges in punjabi language.
To ensure that Punjabi language is used in all the offices , CP Ludhiana also ordered that the official boards of all Police offices and buildings to be in Punjabi language.
