A special assembly was conducted to mark the occasion of UNIVERSAL CHILDREN’S DAY at Police DAV Public School, Patiala where in students presented a colourful programme.
Universal Children’s Day is celebrated to promote international awareness for children welfare. Amandeep Kaur of class VI delivered a speech highlighting the importance the day. She threw light on how UNICEF invites children from all over the world in their support of under privileged children.
A skit was presented by the primary students depicting the plight of children in today’s scenario and their stress during exams.
On the occasion the school Principal, Mrs. Meena Thapar applauded the efforts of the students and greeted everyone. She further added that children should keep their lives like an open book and work hard to achieve success.
