University College, Ghanaur Under the leadership of Dr.Naina Sharma on 24th January 2022 NSS program officer of the department Dr. Kamaljit Singh, Asst.Prof. Amandeep Gill and Dr. Ravinder Singh Ghuman conducted a webinar on ‘Youth Awareness: Road Safety, Drugs and Cyber Bullying’.
NSS Program Officer Amandeep Gill introduced the Chief Guest and highlighted the outline of the program. College Principal / Incharge Dr. Naina Sharma welcomed the guests and the college staff and said that it is very important for girls to be aware in today’s age and only empowered girls can create a good society.
The keynote speaker Inspector Pushpa Devi in the context of “Road Safety Week” and National Girl Child Day said that the youth should come forward to get rid of the menace like drug addiction and female foeticide. She threw immense light on the legal points regarding road safety should be followed and also gave satisfactory answers to various questions asked by the students.
More than 100 students participated in this webinar and at the end; the program officer Dr. Kamaljit Singh thanked the guests, college principals / staff and students for attending the webinar.
