Weather failed to dampen the enthusiasm of Patialvies to watch light and sound show

Under the string of events being held by the Punjab government commemorating 550 years birth celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the devotees basked in glory of light and sound show held at Raja Bhalindra Singh Polo ground Patiala.
Despite drizzling, chilled waves and cold a large number of people enjoyed the spiritual concert and gathered at polo ground to watch the light and sound show based on philosophy, lifetime events and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji.
Being run till Dec 13, the impressive and spectacular Light and sound show was started today in presence of the Cabinet Minister Sadhu Singh Dharmsot and Chairperson of Punjab State Social Welfare Board Gursharan Kaur Randhawa.
During the multimedia light and sound show, being held by Punjab government’s Department of Information and Public Relations, digital techniques and laser show were put to use to bring Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings and aims to life for the huge audience present at show. Audience appreciated the show and were spell bound.
Speaking at the occasion Minister Dharmsot called upon people to emulate the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji who replaced hatred with harmony and brought unprecedented peace to the society. He said that the path shown by Guru Nanak ji is still very relevant in the present age.
Minister said that Punjab Government in the leadership of CM Capt Amrinder Singh, had excellently prepared all the events for commemorating 550 years birth celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji for spread Guru’s message in the world. Dharmsot said that the prime motive of thee show is to sensitize the masses about the teachings and philosophy of Guru Nanak ji.
The devotees said “Weather failed to deter the determination of Patialvies to watch light and sound show.They have seen such spectacular show for the first time in their life and it seemed as if Guru Maharaj was standing in front of them and guiding them.
Appealing devotees to watch the free spectacular show, Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit stated that the show will also be held from 6 pm to 8.15 pm on Dec 13.
ADC-G Showkat Ahmad Parray, ADC-D Dr. Preeti Yadav, SDM Charnjit Singh, ACG Dr Ismat Vijay Singh, AC Grievances Innyat, large number of Patialavis and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
