West Bengal’s Dog Wins ‘Best Puppy’ at All Breed Championship; 233 Dogs Across 32 Breeds Compete at Patiala Dog Show

Under the aegis of “Patiala Heritage Festival 2026″Patiala Kennel Club Organized its 64th and 65th All Breed Championship Dog Shows on Sunday the 15th day of February, 2026 at Raja Bhalendra Singh Stadium (Polo Grounds) Patiala.
Patiala Kennel club has been conducting shows for the last 35 years. Other then 65 All Breed Championship Shows, PKC has also conducted five GSD specialty Shows one of them was Day-night show. These shows were Judged by prominent international level Judges.
The Kennel Club of India has selected the Patiala Kennel Club as one of its nodal clubs where points will be awarded for national rankings such as “The Dog of the Year,” “Reserve Dog of the Year,” “Best Puppy of the Year,” and “Best Bred in India Dog of the Year.”
Prominent judges Anjeli Vaid from Delhi and D. Krishnamurthy from Coimbatore has judged these shows.
Total 233 Dogs in 32 breed participated in these shows. The Exhibitors from UP, Delhi, HP, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Telangana, J & K and other parts of the country participated in these shows. A large number of Doberman (26), Pomeranian (16) German Shepherd Dog (25), Lab (22), Golden Retriever (18), Beagle (15 ) participated in these shows.
Poodle Toy, Bernese Mountain Dog, Dach Shund (Wire haired), Belgian Shepherd Dog, Dogue de Bordeaux, Cane Corso, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Akita, Samoyed, Dogo Argentino Wippet, Caravan Hound, Rajapalayan were the main attraction of the show.
A beautiful Souvenir for the Show was also released on this occasion.
These shows provide an opportunity to watch exotic breeds of dogs. The spectators were amazed to see some exotic & rare breeds. Kids were enjoyed by watching the smallest and the largest types of canine world. People in large number thronged the Show.
