Within 24 hours, Punjab Govt cancels transfer orders of two bureaucrats

On August 15,2024 the state government has issued a transfer offers of 21 ADCs and SDMs.
But, within less than 24 hours, the government ordered the cancellation of transfer orders of two PCS officers.
As per the revised orders issued on August 16,2024, “the transfer orders mentioned at serial no. 2 (Rahul Chabba, PCS as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Bathinda) and serial number 10 ( Darbara Singh Randhawa, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Hoshiarpur, in place of Rahul Chabba, PCS) stands hereby cancelled. The concerned officers shall continue to work at their previous place of posting.”
