World Heritage Day Celebrated at Patiala Locomotive Works: A Tribute to Railway Legacy

Today, Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) marked World Heritage Day with a special exhibition showcasing its rich legacy since 1981, when it was known as Diesel Component Works (DCW). The exhibition, inaugurated by M. K. Agrawal, Principal Chief Materials Manager (PCMM), featured a display of vintage photographs, intricate wooden locomotive models, and nostalgic albums, offering a glimpse into PLW’s history of innovation and resilience.
Joined by other senior officers of PLW, M. K. Agrawal explored the exhibits with enthusiasm, reminiscing about the cherished memories associated with this historic institution. He extended sincere appreciation to the dedicated team behind the exhibition for their meticulous efforts, which contributed to the event’s success. The exhibition garnered attention from both visitors and the staff of Patiala Locomotive Works, becoming a focal point of celebration on World Heritage Day.
