World Uni to celebrate National Science Day on 28 Feb
The faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib will be celebrating national science day on 28 February, 2018 to commemorate the discovery of Raman effect by Nobel laureate Sir. C.V. Raman.
Giving more information about the upcoming celebrations, Registrar and Dean, Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences of the University Prof. Pritpal Singh said that this year’s national science day is being celebrated under the theme of “Science for the Betterment of Humanity”. He added that competitions like Quiz, Declamation, Poster making and presentation of working and non-working models are being organized on this occasion.
It is worth mentioning here that students from other colleges and institutions can also participate in these events.
