Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib welcomed the new President of the SGPC and University Chancellor Gobind Singh Longowal on his maiden visit to the University after becoming the SGPC President.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sukhdarshan Singh Khehra and Member Secretary of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Fourth Centenary Memorial Trust Darbara Singh Guru, along with the senior faculty and staff members of the University welcomed the SGPC President. Gobind Singh Longowal and assured that concrete steps will be taken to establish the University as a world class institution of higher learning and research.
The Vice Chancellor congratulated the newly elected SGPC President and said that he was confident that the University will continue to grow under his able leadership. Darbara Singh Guru expressed the hope that the University would make tremendous progress under the guidance of the new Chancellor Gobind Singh Longowal.
University Registrar Dr. Pritpal Singh, Dean Research Dr. R.K. Sharma, Dean Languages Dr. Swaraj Raj, Dean, Engineering and Emerging Technologies Dr. S.S. Jolly, Dean Students Welfare Dr. Birbikram Singh and other senior members of the faculty were also present to welcome the SGPC President.
