Today Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, celebrated its 68th Annual Academic Day. The Chief Guest for the function was eminent writer and journalist, Mr. Rahul Singh. The programme, among others, was attended by members of the School Board of Governors, alumni, parents and dignitaries from all walks and fields of life .
The highlights of the programme , besides the prize giving ceremony was an exhibition display and a colourful cultural show put up by school students. Both the presentations were liked and appreciated by the visitors.
The Chief Guest, in his speech ,expressed delight at being in the school on the important occasion, applauded the progress the school has been making and congratulated the prize winners .
The School Director, Major General Sanjiv Varma , VSM (Retd.),in his address, thanked the Chief Guest and other visitors for being present for the ceremony and delineated the school’s current and future policies and programmes for the betterment of the institution .
The School Annual Reports and House reports were also presented during the programme by school prefects.
