YPS organised Sight and Sound Show “Sat Gur Nanak Pragateya”for students

Yadavindra Public School organised an enlightening sight and sound show for students on Saturday, April 6. The show was based on founder of Sikh Panth, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and teachings. Around 2000 students and teachers from 9 schools attended this event.

YPS organised Sight and Sound Show “Sat Gur Nanak Pragateya”for students

To commemorate 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a sight and sound show play, titled ‘Sat Gur Nanak Pragateya’ was organised by YPS Patiala. Around 2000 audiences attended the event in the YPS stadium on Saturday evening. Raja Malvinder Singh, YPS board Chairman, was the brainchild behind this event. Through this play, he wanted to enlighten the young generation about the life and teachings of Sikh Panth founder Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The professional artists beautifully presented the Janam sakhis of Guruji’s travels.  They spread the message of equity and equality through their one hour of spell bounding performance.

Board members, YPS, Lt Gen Chetinder Singh (Retd),  Kanwalvir Singh Kang and Rani Harpriya Kaur along with other eminent personalities were also present on the occasion. Lt Gen Singh applauded the producer of the show, Harbux Singh Latta, for putting up a wonderful show and also appreciated his efforts for spreading Guruji’s teachings every time this show is held. This show was earlier staged during Patiala Heritage Festival.
