YPS student won IPSC Trust award for outstanding achievements in sports

The Sports star of Yadavindra Public School has been accorded with IPSC (Indian Public Schools’ conference) Trust Award for Outstanding Achievement and a cash prize. This award has been conferred for outstanding achievements in sports. YPS has bagged this award for the second time in the row.
YPS ace shooter, Raj Kanwar Sandhu has been awarded by IPSC trust for his consistent and outstanding performance in sports. He has been given an award and a cash prize for bagging several National and International medals in Shooting.
At National level, he has bagged Five Gold, Six Silver and Six Bronze medals in the National Level Federation and SGFI School Games till now.
He also participated in Australia World Cup 2018 and won a Bronze medal in 25 m Rapid Fire Pistol Shooting. A feast he accomplished at ISSF World Cup held in SUHL Germany by breaking Two world records, one by winning Gold medal in 25m Pistol shooting where he broke 11 years’ World record and by winning another Gold and Bronze medal in Standard Pistol round he smashed the 18 years old world record.
In 28th Shooting Meet in Czech Republic, he broke his own record by winning Two Gold medals in 25m Sports Pistol shooting. He held a record and was crowned unbeatable for next Four Years by winning Two Gold medals in 25m Sports pistol and standard Pistol shooting in ISSF World Championship held in Korea. In recently held Khelo India Youth Games, he won Silver medal. He bagged all these medals in a span of three months only.
YPS has bagged IPSC award for second time in the row. Last year, Chhavi Kohli won this award for winning medals in the Commonwealth and several other International Championships in Fencing.
