YPS Students attend JENESYS Sports programe, Japan

Two YPS, Patiala students attended ten days JENESYS (Japan –East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) Program 2018 in Japan. The students were awarded scholarship for the same and it was totally funded by Ministry of Foreign affairs, Japan. The students were selected after their exceptional performance in Hockey after a grueling selection process.

After their glorious victory in All India IPSC Hockey Tournament and selection in Nehru Hockey Cup, YPS Hockey boys got a golden opportunity to excel further and explore globally. Two of hockey team boys, Pavraj Singh and Harmanjot Daheon of class XI were selected by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan for fully sponsored Ten days’ trip to Japan. The boys represented YPS in JENESYS Program 2018. The opportunity was provided to them following their scintillating performance in Hockey.

The young Yadavindrians took part in gaming sessions and also discussed Global issues like environment amongst other representatives of different countries. This program was intended to promote people –to-people exchange between Japan and other countries to build basis for future global harmony and understanding.

Additionally, in last one month, a group 18 students with two teacher’s escorts went on 8 days’ trip to Japan and Two of our students, Parjwal and Maheep Malik of class have successfully completed their One-month coursework in Hungary and Denmark under student exchange programmes.

Foreign exchange programme is one such platform through which the student gets much needed dose of exposure which could usher them towards the path of success. A number of exchange programmes are held every year for the students in which either we host the students or send our students to different countries for a time bound courses.
