This July, a group of 13 bright students from Ryan Schools embarked on an enriching adventure as part of the International Student Exchange Program held in the United Kingdom. Spanning over two weeks, from July 22nd to August 5th, the program offered these young learners a unique blend of cultural exchange, educational workshops, and unforgettable sightseeing experiences.
The students, aged between 12 and 17 years, stayed at Hurst College, where they attended a high-quality Residential English Language Course. This course provided them with an invaluable opportunity to practice their English in real-life settings, honing their language skills while interacting with peers from various parts of the world.
Apart from their daily lessons, the students participated in creative workshops and social events that allowed them to explore their creativity and build lasting friendships. The program also included exciting trips to iconic destinations such as London and Oxford, as well as visits to the vibrant city of Brighton and a historic castle.
One of the highlights of the trip was the London excursion, where students marvelled at the city’s rich history, stunning architecture, and cultural landmarks. The experience of visiting world-renowned sites, including the Tower of London and the British Museum, left the students inspired and eager to learn more about global cultures.
This year marks over 20 years of Ryan Schools’ successful exchange programs between India and the UK, and the benefits of such international exposure are clear. Students returned home not only with improved language skills but also with a broader perspective on the world and a deeper understanding of European culture.
Parents and educators alike have praised the program for its well-rounded approach, which combines academic learning with cultural immersion. “This program truly unleashes the potential of our students, helping them grow both intellectually and socially,” said the Principal, Pooja Sharma.
