1st batch of Agrochemical Diploma passed at PAU Bathinda

Bathinda-Students of the first batch (2016-17) of two years Diploma in Agrochemical have passed out from Punjab Agriculture University Regional Station Bathinda.

Giving this information here today the Director, Regional Station, Bathinda Dr Paramjit Singh stated that final examination of batch was conducted on June 11, 2018 that 35 students undertook.

All the students have learned about the theoretical and practical knowledge related to agronomy, soil science, entomology, plant pathology aspects in agriculture. In this course, knowledge related to field crops, vegetable, fruit science, floriculture and Forestry were also imparted. Most of the student will start the business of pesticide, fertilizer after getting the certificate of this diploma course, as the result is awaited and some of the students are professional and already doing business.

Dr Paramjit Singh motivated students to use the knowledge gathered during this course for the welfare of the farmers.
