2009 batch IAS officer appointed as Private Secretary to Home Minister Amit Shah

Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Saket Kumar, lAS (BH:2009) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation (Amit Shah) in the Ministry of Home Affairs at the level of Director.
He is already working as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs since 2019. Kumar’s appointment was approved till July 29, 2023 and given two year extension.
