Baba Farid Group of Institutes (BFGI) a leading institution of northern India has always made unique efforts for the overall development of Students and education. By taking another step in such series, BFGI Academic Achievers Award-2019 was successfully organized at BFGI Campus to honour meritorious students who got 80% or above marks in the academic results of 10th and 12th class.

In this award ceremony, 3000 meritorious students from more than 250 different schools of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan have been honoured, who have received 80% marks and above in 10th and 12th class results. Apart from this, Principals of various schools who have shown outstanding performance in the 10th and 12th results during session 2018-19 were also specially honoured. During this event, Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman BFGI and Paramjit Kaur Dhaliwal, Managing Director, BFGI attended the ceremony as Chief Guests. The ceremony started with lighting the traditional lamp.

B.D. Sharma, Deputy Director (Career Guidance and Counselling), BFGI welcomed the meritorious students, their parents and principals and teachers from different schools and congratulated the meritorious students for their excellent results.

Principals of various schools who attend the event expressed their views and said that this is a very unique initiative of BFGI, which has made the meritorious students very proud and they will have better results in the future.

Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, BFGI congratulated the meritorious students who received excellent results while addressing the occasion. He said that by honouring meritorious students, they are encouraged to get even better results and become the source of inspiration for other students. With the same encouragement and motivation, these meritorious students illuminate the name of their parents, school and country. He shared his valuable views and highlighted the importance of career guidance and counselling to the students. He inspired students to have a positive attitude to remain free of anxiety and tension. Encouraged by the overwhelming response of students and schools, Dr. Dhaliwal also announced to hold the ‘Academic Achiever Award’ every year. Finally, Dr. Pardeep Kaura, Deputy Director (Academics) BFGI thanked everyone for their support and efforts to make this event successful.
