4 Punjab Police DGPs empanelled for central deputation

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved empanelment of the 35 Indian Police Service (IPS) Officers for holding posts at the Centre at the DG/ DG Eq level. Those empanelled for DG or DG equivalent posts are eligible to hold top positions in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), CBI, NIA and RAW which function under the Union government.
Out of 35, 4 are Punjab Police officers namely
Amardeep Singh Rai PB 1994 DG/DG Eq.
Anita Punj PB 1994 DG/DG Eq.
Praveen Kumar Sinha PB 1994 DG/DG Eq.
Sudhanshu S Srivastava PB 1994 DG/DG Eq.
who are empanelled for central deputation as DG/ DG Equivalent level posts.
AS Rai is presently posted as Special DGP Special DGP/Traffic and Road
Safety Wing, Punjab.
Anita Punj is presently posted as Special DGP cum Director PPA-Phillaur.
Sudhanshu S Srivastava is presently posted as Special DGP/Security
Parveen Kumar Sinha is presently posted as Special DGP/INT (Head of Wing)
