70 delegates from 7 schools participating in all India IPSC service project  at YPS

The Four-day long All India IPSC Service Project went underway at Yadavindra Public School, Patiala . The project will continue from November 21-24. Total 7 schools from across the India have participated in this project. The participants are as follows:

  1. Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar
  2. Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior
  3. Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur
  4. Rajkumar College, Rajkot
  5. Genesis Global School, Noida
  6. Mayo College, Ajmer
  7. Yadavindra Public School, Patiala

Around 70 delegates from 7 different schools of India are participating in All India IPSC Service Project. During the project, the students will be providing various services at the Government Elementary School, Village Hasanpur. The activities of the project will continue for four days i.e: November 21-24. The tasks to be performed are as follows:

  1. Upgradation of the classrooms
  2. Preparing the kitchen garden for Aanganwadi in the Playground
  3. Setting up swings for Primary School kids
  4. Interactive sessions on Personal Hygiene

Around 20 students of IAYP and NSS from YPS will be part of this service project. The students of NSS are already performing their duties from last one week there. The students will work for about 4-5 hrs a day to accomplish the task within the stipulated time frame. On the first day of service today, the delegates also played some interesting games and distributed toys among the students of Government School.

It is to state that YPS students have already performed several noteworthy tasks like cleaning and refurbishing the classroom and school premises at the same Government school in the month of June under SUPW project. The teachers of YPS, Simrat Malhotra, Sunita Kumari, Kamini Goel and Deepa Thapliyal will be helping in guiding and the smooth conduct of the tasks at the Government School.
