Two Day 7th International fest of Baba Farid Group of Institutions started with a boom. The much awaited Annual International Fest –VIBGYOR-19 (in association with Canam & TPR) marked its opening with huge excitement and enthusiasm. VIBGYOR-19 was inaugurated by Chief Guest of the day Air Commodore Rajiva Ranjan VM AOC, Air Force Station Bhisiana by enlightening the traditional lamp.

Management of BFGI  Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal (Chairman BFGI), Paramjit Kaur Dhaliwal (Managing Director BFGI), Amitoz Dhaliwal (Director Administration, BFGI, Dr. Amanat Dhaliwal Director, BFGI were also present. Jagdeep Singh Sidhu, OSD to CM, Punjab represented Bharat Bhushan Ashu Punjab Cabinet minister who could not attend the fest today due to his meeting with CM, Punjab.Ajit inder Singh Mofar, (Ex. MLA Sardulgarh) was present as guest of Honour.

Chairman of BFGI, Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal while welcoming all the guests and visitors he said that Baba Farid Group of Institutions has dedicated the year 2019 to ‘Self Development’. He said that the motive of this fest is not only to provide the world level information about technology but also to make people aware of the culture of India as well as other countries.

Rajiva Ranjan congratulated Dr. Dhaliwal for establishing an institute which provides loads of opportunity to its students. He said that the doors of IAF Station Bhisiana are always open for BFGI students.

First day of BFGI’s 7th International Fest VIBGYOR-19 gave a bang to audiences. Huge crowd was attracted by celebrities’ performances and more than 40,000 people gathered to enjoy and feel the rich ambience of VIBGYOR-19.

Special Guest Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Global Ambassador, World Cancer Care Charitable Trust honoured with prestigious Award  ‘BFGI Award of Excellence in Social Service’ by Chairman BFGI.

Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal aware the audience about Cancer and social evils like drugs, female foeticide, dowry and environment pollution. He stress on invest in medical research and help the needy people in medical treatment. Cancer screening camps will be organised at Village Deon in the month of April in which free medicines will be distributed to the cancer affected.A cancer train to Bikaner will be known as simple train within one year.

Cultural teams from more than 15 countries such as Egypt, Brazil, Russia, Zimbabwe, Ukraine and Afganistan etc. who presented their respective Folk Dances & cultures under GLOBAL VILLAGE at VIBGYOR-19.

In Technoworld competitions like like Robo race, Sumo warrior, line follower, project mania, Robo soccer, Robo golf, Cyclomania, Aero Modeling, Quad copter and Boat Racing etc. were organized wherein students from esteemed technical Institutions from worldwide showcased their talent.

Apart from this two innovative events College roadies & Fashionista (corporate fashion show) were organized for which the students were seen really excited.

Kamal Heer famous Punjabi singer robbed the heart of youngsters by giving mind boggling live performance by singing his all lovely songs. Punjabi female singer Nimrat Khaira and Harf Cheema also gave mesmerizing Performances and entertained the audiences.
