Is Navjot Sidhu waiting for ‘Vijay Mahoorat’ to walk out of jail?

Today, cricketer turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is going to be released from the Central jail, Patiala after completing is one year sentence in a road rage case.
As per available information, he is released from the jail in the morning. But, till 1:30 pm he has not stepped out of jail premises. His supporters, media persons are waiting for him, since morning. A special mini truck is decorated to take him in a procession from Central jail to his residence.
As per a religious person, “he’s known to be religious and quite superstitious person and a known devotee of Lord Shiva. So, Sidhu will walk out of jail after 1:53 pm, which is a shubh mahoorat or vijay mahoorat for him”.
“It’s a open secret that Navjot Singh Sidhu , the day he was sentenced to a year in jail in the 1988 road rage case – rode an elephant in Patiala district due to his superstitious nature as some religious persons had advised him to “rode an elephant”. He rode on elephant to protest against inflation and increase in prices of essential goods like fuel and cooking gas in the markets of Patiala” said Kunal, a resident of Patiala.

Yesterday Navjot Singh Sidhu’s official Twitter handle has shared his release from jail’s news. “This is to inform everyone that Sardar Navjot Singh Sidhu will be released from Patiala Jail tomorrow,”
Following the latest development, the Congress leader’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who is battling cancer, shared an emotional tweet, saying “Affirmations are true: made by a sound mind or out of your senses. Navjot’s love for Punjab had driven him beyond the realm of any attachment. In a fit of anger, to teach him a lesson I asked for death. God’s grace was waiting but with a rider. I will give you what you have asked for but not against the will of Supreme Consciousness. So HE left me in between. Each person’s destiny and journey is different. We have no right to question it. The only person who needs correction is our own self. HIS WORLD: HIS LAWS”
