Murderous attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal

A murderous attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal is held at the entrance of Sri Darbar sahib, Amritsar.
As per initial reports, Narain Singh Chaura, a Dal Khalsa activist fired at Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is performing his duty as per the Sri Akal Takht sahib verdict .
The alert guards saved Sukhbir Singh Badal. He is unhurt in the attack.
The shooter was overpowered by people present on the spot. More details on this are awaited.
Badal is performing ‘sewadar’ duties after the Akal Takht pronounced the ‘Tankhah’ (religious punishment) for him and several other Akali Dal leaders for “mistakes” committed during the party’s rule in Punjab from 2007 to 2017. He has been asked to serve as a ‘sewadar’, wash dishes and clean shoes at Golden Temple and several other gurdwaras.
