The Department of Orthopaedics, AIIMS Bathinda proudly hosted the Spine Symposium on Sunday [01/12/24], focusing on the management of common spine ailments and Orthopaedic trauma. This engaging event attracted 140 registered delegates, including eminent practitioners, researchers, and faculties from premier institutes across Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh and Delhi, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of learning and collaboration.

This momentous occasion was made possible by the grace and vision of our esteemed leaders: Founder Director Prof. (Dr.) DK Singh and Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Meenu Singh. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth. The presence and guidance of Dean Academics AIIMS Bathinda Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Pathak and Medical Superintendent Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Kumar further enriched the event, providing invaluable insights that inspired both speakers and attendees alike.

The symposium featured a comprehensive agenda that included panel discussions, a poster presentation competition for postgraduate students, and saw bone workshops. Participants delved into critical topics such as cervical and thoracolumbar trauma, spine deformities, and the latest advancements in spine surgery.

The event was organized by the Orthopaedics department at AIIMS Bathinda, helmed by Prof (Dr.) Tarun Goyal, Dr. Nilesh Barwar and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Sharma and Orthopaedics team.
