Large number of JEs, AAEs etc participated in Zonal convention of the Central Zone of Council of Junior Engineers PSEB

A Zonal convention of the Central Zone of Council of Junior Engineers PSEB was held today at Ludhiana, wherein large number of JEs, AAEs and Promoted Engineers participated. This was informed to the press by Er. Jaswinder Singh Joint Secretary, Central Zone of Council of JEs.
Various Council leadership such as Er. Paramjit Singh State President, Er. Davinder Singh General Secretary, Er. Chanchal kumar Finance Secretary, Er. Amandeep Jehlavi Office Secretary & others addressed the gathering and highlighted various achievements of JEs Council during past. All the leaders emphasized on strengthening the JEs Council down the line so as to get the pending demands settled and to cope with the challenges before power sector.
Er. Davinder Singh, President central zone, placed a resolution in the convention that was passed unanimously.
The resolution reads:-Power Junior Engineers & promoted engineers working all over Punjab condemn the move of Central Govt. to privatize the profit making UT electricity department, Chandigarh and demand roll back of this decision which neither in the interest of public nor department. JEs Council also expresses its solidarity to the struggling UT power men and assures full support to their agitation. Further, resolved that in case the central government did not stop its privatization move urgently, Power Junior Engineers will be forced to resort to an aggressive agitation program.
Convention ended with a vote of thanks to state leadership and all the participants.
