IT conducts search operation at Punjab’s leading industrial house premises

Income Tax (Investigation) authorities have raided the premises of Punjab’s leading industrial house “Tiwana Group of Industries”.
The group is into mustard oil, animal feed, cattle feed manufacturing business having its plants in various parts of India.
The law enforcement agency has raided the residence at Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib district. The team is also searching the plants of Tiwana Group at Khararui, Roorkiee on Patiala-Sirhind Road in Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab, Nawesa in Maharashtra, Kalyangarh in Ahemadabad, Dewas in MP, Mahua Khera Ganj in Rudrapur (Uttrakhand). The IT department is also raiding the premises of its associate’s premises at Rajpura, Khanna, Charkhi Dadri, Narnaul.
As per available information, the Income Tax sleuths has started their search operation on February 20,2025 and its still going on after receiving information of bogus billing including fake purchase, sale.
As per sources, the tax sleuths have already recovered unaccounted cash, documents, large scale investment in real estate from the premises. Evidence supporting these investments was also recovered. The investigation is ongoing to determine the total scale of undisclosed wealth.
