Punjab govt suspends Central Jail Superintendent

Punjab govt has suspended the Central Jail Hoshiarpur Superintendent, Baljit Singh Ghuman.
As per the suspension orders, Baljit Singh Ghuman, Superintendent, Central Jail Hoshiarpur has allegedly been found indulge in drug racket.
As per the orders, he will have to report to head office, during the suspension period.
In December 2023 Hoshiarpur Central Jail superintendent Joginder Pal Singh was also placed under suspension for beating up a prisoner.
