Punjab police books former Punjab’s AAP’s MP

As per initial information, Punjab police has booked aam aadmi party former MP from Punjab Sandeep Pathak in two different cases.
As per unconfirmed reports, the FIRs were filed in two districts of Punjab over harassing women and corruption.
Punjab police has gone to Delhi to arrest Pathak as he is booked under non-bailable offences. But the former AAP leader was seen leaving the house from the back gate in Punjab registered SUV, before the arrival of the officials.
While taking to some mediapersons, Pathak said “I am not aware of any such FIR, nor has any police authority informed me. I have served the nation my entire life with honesty and integrity. The country is bigger than any party – I will never betray it, nor allow anyone else to do so. If any action has been initiated against someone like me, it only shows how scared they are. I don’t wish to say anything further.”
Pathak has recently joined BJP along other six MPs. He is, a Rajya Sabha member from Punjab since April 2022, was considered to be the architect AAP’s Punjab win in the 2022 assembly elections.
