Punjabi University Professors Receive Prestigious Recognition

Two professors from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Punjabi University, Patiala, have been honored with the Teaching Excellence Award by the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR). Dr. Gurjit Singh Bhathal and Dr. Brahmaleen Kaur Sidhu were recently felicitated during the annual I2OR Research Excellence Award Ceremony.
Dr. Gurjit Singh Bhathal has over 105 publications to his credit, including five books and several research articles published in national and international journals and conferences. His current research focuses on cloud computing, big data, and cybersecurity. He also holds two patents.
Dr. Brahmaleen Kaur Sidhu has authored more than 85 publications, which include three books and numerous articles in reputed journals. Her research is centered around artificial intelligence and machine learning. She also holds two patents.
In a press communique’ Head of the Department, Professor Himanshu Aggarwal, expressed his delight over their achievement, stating that such accomplishments not only serve as a source of inspiration for students but also enhance the academic reputation of the university.
