PSTCL gets new Director, Technical

Punjab government has appointed Sanjeev Kumar Sood as director, technical, Punjab state transmission corporation limited.
Sanjeev Sood , engineer -in -chief , Transmission System ,PSTCL has been appointed Director/ Technical Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd (PSTCL) for a period of two years by the Punjab government today.
He worked as chief engineer / engineer-in-chief for a period of 2 years and 6 months and has total more than 30 years and 6 months in distribution, planning, metering, enforcement and sub-transmission design & construction. He was responsible for commissioning of 400 KV Dhanasu and Ropar and restarting the stalled 220 KV projects of GIS station at Sherpur and AIS at Budhlada.
As executive engineer ,he successfully implemented a two tier system in distribution and implemented first SAP online metering in PSEB at Patiala.
Sanjeev Sood is a competent and honest engineer. He also remained associated with various power engineers federation and PSEB engineer’s Association.
