Ajayvir Singh Lalpura Slams Punjab’s Land Pooling Scheme, Calls It a Scam

Rupnagar BJP District President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura has strongly opposed the Punjab government’s land pooling scheme, calling it a “scam” aimed at misleading farmers and grabbing fertile land without consent. He alleged that key land records (khasra numbers) were published in newspapers without informing landowners, violating their rights and trust.
Lalpura emphasized that most affected areas in Rupnagar, including Badi Haveli, Gurdaspura, Bara Phool, and Badi Railon, are agricultural hubs. “This is not just political; it’s about our farmers’ land, identity, and future. I will fight tooth and nail to protect it,” he said.
He urged farmers whose land appears in notices to immediately contact him at 98075-88075. “This is just the beginning. If the scheme isn’t withdrawn, a mass protest will follow,” he warned.
