Traffic police handles traffic violators for same offences in different way. A latest example comes to fore where one traffic police is turning a Nelson’s Eye and other is imposing hefty fines, seizing vehicles for same kind of violations-stunts on roads, persons seen hanging out of a car window etc.

As per reports, few days ago a video widely circulated on social media purportedly showed stunts being performed in two moving cars. A man was seen hanging out of a car window, waving a stick, while the driver’s door remained open. Another car is seen speeding in a zigzag manner. The act was video recorded from the third car.

After the video went viral, the Noida Traffic Police acted swiftly and tracked down the vehicles by scanning their registration numbers. After that they issued challans amounting Rs 65,500 for one vehicle and Rs 57,500 for the other visible vehicle respectively.

Latter all three cars were seized by Noida Traffic Police under Section 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Whereas Patiala seems to be a safe heaven for traffic violators. In a latest incident of similar kind, Pollywood actor Dev Kharoud, while promoting his upcoming film openly flouted traffic, road safety norms in Patiala on June 13,2025. He himself proudly, without any hesitation flashed the traffic violation on the roads of Patiala on June 13,2025. He along with his co-stars openly pop out of the sunroofs of their SUVs, violating the traffic rule and safety. Youngsters did triple riding on two wheelers, sits on the windows of four wheelers. All these goes unnoticed right under the nose of Patiala police. His cavalcade includes the SUVs with Punjab Police stickers.

As per available information, local police has not registered any FIR against him or his followers (as per the crime report shared by the Patiala Police on June 14,2025).

Not on this, Patialavies have the courage to openly flout the Supreme Court orders- using of black films, flasher lights on the top, hooters in four wheelers. Even the Patiala police seem to be in no mood to rightfully implement the Apex Court orders or remove these illegal items from four wheedlers who are violating the traffic rules.

When tried to contact the SP (Traffic), Patiala Achru Ram to get update on this issue and other issues he didn’t respond to phone calls, whatsapp , text messages. This is not the first time when SP (Traffic), Patiala Achru Ram failed to pick up the phone.

Patiala seems to be a safe haven for traffic violators, right under the watchful eyes of Patiala Police
