Poonam Gupta’s book on social awareness “Nanne Kadam, Badi Baatein” released

At a grand ceremony organized by the Kartar Singh Sarabha Welfare Trust at Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala, the children’s poetry book “Nanne Kadam, Badi Baatein” by Dr. Poonam Gupta, a State Awardee Lecturer, was formally released.
The chief guest at the event was Sukhhi Bath, founder of Punjab Bhawan, Surrey, Canada. Dr. Ravinderpal Sharma, Deputy District Education Officer, was present as a special guest. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Neeraj Goel, Principal of Modi College, Patiala. Dr. Poonam Gupta highlighted her newly published book, stating that the book is a collection of poems based on curriculum content and social concerns. She shared that the book is dedicated to the students for whom she composed these short poems.
The book “Nanne Kadam, Badi Baatein” covers all those topics necessary to raise awareness among students in today’s times. Whether it is planting more trees, saving water, addressing increasing pollution, the cleanliness campaign, explaining traffic rules, protecting students from addictions or copying, or celebrating one’s culture and festivals, all these topics have been included in this book.
Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Ravinder Pal Sharma praised the book and said that it will prove to be very useful for students.
Principal Dr. Neeraj Goel of Modi College congratulated Dr. Poonam Gupta on her newly published book. He said that Dr. Gupta has been associated with the college for a long time and regularly participates in various activities of the college. Dr. Poonam Gupta has also been honored many times by the college for her contributions to education and writing. It is noteworthy that Dr. Poonam Gupta has already published three books and has edited several others.
Her works are frequently published in various magazines and newspapers. One of her books, “Krishna Charitra: Vividh Ayaam”, has received the Best Book award from the Punjab Language Department. Dr. Gupta expressed her gratitude to the Kartar Singh Sarabha Welfare Trust and its president, Akshay Kumar Khanouri, and congratulated them on the success of the sixth award distribution ceremony organized by them.
On this occasion, prominent social worker Rajiv Bansal, Manoj Gorshi DSP Patiala, former Principal Ajit Singh Bhatti, Dr. Barjinder Singh Sohal, Ajay Kumar Gupta, and Naresh Jain, Principal of Model Town School, Patiala, were especially present.
