Suneel Grover Former Managing Director  and  Patron, All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF)  has written to  Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh  for Vigilance Enquiry against present Chairman,Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) regarding  various acts of commissions and omissions and corruption  and his indulgence in maligning the office bearers of the  Joint Action Committee of HPSEBL Employees and Engineers.

Grover wrote a letter to Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh on Thursday accusing chairman HPSEBL for propaganda to malign the reputation of office bearer of Joint Action Committee.  When the Joint Action Committee (JAC) tried to expose his misdeeds, the Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders were transferred and charge-sheeted, discouraging any potential whistleblowers, and silencing the ones who are raising their voice.

Grover writes that  now he has become  another victim of the misuse of power by Chairman HPSEBL for requesting the lodging of an FIR against him in   some 15 years old case  when he was Chief Engineer(P&M) (officiating Charge) in a stop gap arrangement for merely less than six months.

The letter also mentions that three FIRs highlighting alleged corruption charges against the current chairman were filed in 1996 and 2009.He demands  a thorough investigation in the matter.

Charge sheets served on convenor and co-convener of Joint Action Committee (JAC) the ordered to be withdrawn immediately and all the bogus cases containing false charges  should be withdrawn immediately.
