Punjab cadre IPS officer inducted in CBI as DIG

Punjab cadre IPS officer J. Elanchezhian of 2010 batch has been inducted as DIG in CBI on deputation.
Currently he is Director, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab.
At present their are 18 IPS officers who are on central deputation. He will be the 19th officer to join central deputation and 1st to join the premier investigating agency-Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as at present no IPS officer from Punjab is representing CBI.
