Rotary Club Rupnagar organises expert session at Shiwalik School

Under a unique initiative of Vocational Service Segment of Rotary, an interactive awareness session on Common Orthopedic Problems among Teachers was organized today at Shiwalik Public School, Rupnagar by Rotary club Rupnagar.
In his welcome address Club President Rotarian Sudhir Sharma, welcomed the expert, Principal & teachers of the school. Introducing the expert Past President Dr BPS Parmar explained the importance of the session.
The session was delivered by noted orthopedic surgeon from Chandigarh Dr. Siddharth Aggarwal, who highlighted preventive measures, lifestyle modifications and practical tips for managing routine bone and joint issues commonly faced by teaching professionals. The session was attended by the participant with great enthusiasm and generated interactive discussions with the expert doctor.
Principal & teachers of the school appreciated the unique initiative of the club & requested its leadership to arrange such lectures on regular basis in the school. Principal of the school also requested to organize counselling sessions for students on selection of right career, traffic awareness & common cause for low eye sight among students. Club Secretary Dr. Ankur Wahi assured to organize the sessions in demand in near future.
Speaking on the occasion Director Vocational Service Dr JK Sharma requested other school managements to come forward & associate with their club to organize such sessions in their respective schools.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished Rotarians including Assistant Governor Rotarian Gurpreet Singh, Rotarian Dr Aarti Verma, Rotarian Parmod Sharma & Vandana Sharma.
From Shiwalik school side Principal Baljit Singh Attri, Kamaljit Singh, Ranveer Singh, Rajinder Singh, Arun Kumar, Madan Sharma, Anshu, Neeru Jaitly, Manju Attri, Ruchi, Shivani, Kajal, Jagwinder Kaur & Rashmi were present.
