Government Bikram College of Commerce Hosts session on Vigilance Awareness

As part of the week-long Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 being organized by the Vigilance Bureau, a special awareness session was held at Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The college was privileged to host a team from the Vigilance Bureau, Patiala Range, comprising Arjuna Awardee Rajpal Singh (SSP, Vigilance Bureau Range Patiala), Parminder Singh (DSP, Vigilance Bureau Unit Patiala), Inspector Ramanpreet Singh, and Inspector Balbir Kaur. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata appreciated the efforts of the Vigilance Bureau and commended their initiative to reach out to educational institutions during this awareness week. More than 150 Students of BBA actively participated in the session.

The officers delivered insightful talks on the importance of vigilance in everyday life and the collective responsibility of citizens in eradicating corruption.

The session was successfully coordinated by Dr. Reetu Kapoor, Member secretary, Assistant Professor. Swati Gupta and Assistant Professor Harmandeep Kaur.
