Good Governance Week: Patiala district administration organises Lok Milni & Jan Suvidha Camp at Village Khedi Gaurian

As part of Good Governance Week being observed from December 19 to December 25, 2025, under the nationwide campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore”, the District Administration Patiala organised a Lok Milni and Jan Suvidha Camp at village Khedi Gaurian to deliver citizen-centric services at the grassroots level.
Giving the details Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Damanjit Singh Mann said that under this initiative, the Patiala District Administration is committed to ensuring doorstep delivery of public services and resolving citizens’ issues in a transparent and time-bound manner. He added that such camps strengthen public trust in governance by taking administration directly to the people.
During the camp, representatives from around 37 government departments participated and provided on-the-spot services, guidance, and redressal of grievances to the local residents. Various applications were received, and several issues were resolved at the camp itself, while others were forwarded to the concerned departments for prompt action.
BDPO Patiala Sukhwinder Singh Tiwana said that the initiative witnessed active participation from villagers, reflecting the success of the campaign in bringing governance closer to rural communities and reinforcing the spirit of good governance, accountability, and public service delivery.
