Gulpreet Singh Aulakh takes over as SBS Nagar Deputy Commissioner

2015 batch IAS officer Gulpreet Singh Aulakh today took over as Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. Before this, he was serving as Special Secretary Revenue and Rehabilitation Department. Apart from this, he has also rendered excellent services as Additional Deputy Commissioner Sri Muktsar Sahib, Additional Registrar Cooperation Department, MD Punjab State Cooperative Bank and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Amritsar.
Talking to the media after assuming office, Gulpreet Singh Aulakh said that In this district associated with Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, solving the problems of the people together as a team, providing transparent administration, delivering the benefits of government schemes to them and taking the district to heights in every field by implementing development works will be his main priority.
Earlier, on reaching the District Administrative Complex, he was given a grand ‘Guard of Honour’ by a contingent of the District Police. After this, he also reviewed the welfare schemes being run by the Punjab Government by holding a meeting with the officials.
On this occasion, those who welcomed him were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Avneet Kaur, SDM Nawanshahr Dr. Akshita Gupta, SDM Balachaur Kritika Goyal, SDM Vipan Bhandari, Regional Transport Officer Inderpal, Assistant Commissioner, Jagdeep Singh besides other officers and employees.
