AIDS awareness campaign organized at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala

An Awareness Campaign on AIDS was organized at Government Bikram College of Commerce under the guidance of the College Principal, Pr (Dr) Kusum Lata. The programme aimed to educate students about HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.
The keynote speaker, Dr Navgeet Kaur from Deergh Ayu Ayurvedic Hospital, delivered an informative lecture on HIV/AIDS. She explained the causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, and preventive measures in simple and clear language. She especially focused on the importance of lifestyle changes, safe practices, balanced diet, and maintaining strong immunity for overall well-being.
The programme concluded with an interactive question–answer session where students actively participated and clarified their doubts.
