PCMSA extends support to Punjab State Ministerial Service Union’s agitation against state govt’s anti-employee policies

“Punjab Civil Medical Services Association (PCMSA) expresses unequivocal support and solidarity towards the struggle initiated by Punjab State Ministerial Service Union for the attainment of just rights of the Government employees of the State” stated Dr Akhil Sareen, president PCMSA
Dr Ravinder Riar, general secretary of the PCMSA said “we strongly urges the government to favourably address all righteous, long pending demands of the employees related to OPS implementation, DA instalments/arrears, rationalisation of 7th pay commission anomalies and end of contractual/ad- hoc/outsourced recruitment.”
Extending support to the struggling Punjab State Ministerial Service Union, Dr Sarin added “ Concurrently, PCMSA earnestly advocates for an aggressive recruitment campaign to fill the vacant regular posts of all cadres to strengthen the public services of the State”

Members of the Punjab State Ministerial Service Union (PSMSU) seeks implementation of the old pension scheme (OPS), release of pending dearness allowance (DA)/ arrears, regularisation of contractual employees etc
Punjab State Ministerial Service Union (PSMSU) are protesting against what they described as anti-employee policies of the state government. They are urging the state government to review and withdraw the controversial notifications and to adopt employee-friendly policies in consultation with staff representatives.
