Retired Teachers’ Welfare association awards scholarships to students of Govt Bikram College

Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala received generous support from the Govt. College Retired Teachers’ Welfare Association, Punjab, which awarded scholarships to meritorious students of the college. Under this initiative, 15 deserving meritorious students were granted scholarships of Rs 2500 each, amounting to a total of Rs 37,500.
The scholarships were presented by the members of the association Dr Joginder Paul, President Patiala Unit, Principal Dr B.S. Tohra, Executive Member of State Council and B.P. Dhiman Member. The members of the Association appreciated the academic achievements of the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
Principal (Prof.) Dr. Kusum Lata, in her message, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Association for their thoughtful gesture and support towards the students. She stated that such initiatives by retired teachers serve as a great motivation for students and reflect their continued commitment to the cause of education and student welfare.
The scholarship recipients included Suraj Kumar, Raman Sharma, Mokshita Goyal, Jyoti Kaur, Jaskaran Singh, Neha Rani, Anu, Lovepreet, Jyoti Rani, Preeti Kaur, Yogesh Kumar, Parneet Kaur, Jashandeep Kaur, Surjeet Kaur and Khushi.

Faculty members Sukhbir Kaur, Asst. Prof. Vivek Kumar, Shashi Bala, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Dr. Rekha Rani, Dr. Reetu Kapoor, Asst. Prof. Satinder Kaur, Asst. Prof. Kavita Garg, Asst. Prof. Gazal Aggarwal and Dr. Meenakshi Garg were also present on the occasion.
The college community appreciated the generous contribution of the Association and thanked them for encouraging the students through this meaningful initiative.
