Punjab IAS officer’s inter cadre deputation term extended by relaxing policy

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of tenure of Inter Cadre Deputation of Syed Sehrish Asgar, IAS of 2013 batch from Punjab cadre to AGMUT cadre (J&K segment) for a period of one year .
She remained SDM Gurdaspur and later ADC in Punjab before moving to J&K on five year deputation period.Her inter cadre deputation period has already over.
Asgar is serving as deputy commissioner Baramulla and as per reports the state govt (J&K) wants to retain her as she belongs to J&K
