AIR 64 holder Jayant Garg felicitated at Govt Bikram College of Commerce

Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organized a special event to honour its distinguished alumnus Jayant Garg, who has brought pride to the institution by securing AIR 64 in UPSC CSE 2025, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
The program was organized under the guidance of Principal (Prof.) Dr.Kusum Lata. Jayant Garg was warmly welcomed and felicitated for his outstanding achievement in one of the most competitive examinations in the country.
Jayant Garg joined Bikram College in 2015. He became a Chartered Accountant in 2019 with AIR 39 and later worked in the private sector. In 2023, he joined Haryana Allied Services but left the job to prepare for the Civil Services Examination.
Earlier, he was also selected in UPSC CSE 2023 and joined IRMS Traffic in February 2025, where he is continuing to serve till date. Through his remarkable achievements and dedication, Jayant Garg has proved that he is truly the Pole Star of Government Bikram College of Commerce.
In her message, the Principal congratulated him for securing the 64th rank and expressed immense pride in his success.
She encouraged students to take inspiration from Jayant Garg’s journey and to work hard with dedication and determination to achieve their aspirations.Jayant fondly recalled and cherished the memorable moments of his student life at the institution.
He also shared the occasion with his wife, Aparna Kaushal who accompanied him during the visit, making the moment even more special.
While addressing the gathering, Jayant Garg shared his experiences of preparing for the UPSC examination and spoke about the importance of discipline, perseverance and consistent efforts. He motivated students to remain focused on their goals and believe in their abilities.
An interactive session was also held where students enthusiastically asked questions regarding preparation strategies, and time management. Jayant Garg patiently answered their queries and provided useful guidance for aspirants.
