Whistleblower PCS officer among 9 IAS, PCS officers transferred

Punjab government has issued transfer orders of 1 IAS and 8 PCS officers.
Among the transferees, Babandeep Singh Walia, PCS, SDM Baghapurana, who had written to the Chief Secretary, Punjab, against his immediate reporting officer, Sagar Setia, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Moga, has been transferred to Fazilka

Recently in the Baghapurana Block Samiti elections, than SDM ,PCS reportedly flagged in his communication to the chief secretary “that the prevailing atmosphere was not conducive to free and fair elections due to intense political interference”
The SDM has written a letter to chief secretary under subject” Complaint regarding extreme harassment, mental agony and torture at the hands of Sh Sagar setia , IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Moga, in connection with the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson elections of Baghapurana Panchayat Samiti.”
