PSPCL is creating new milestones in the state in Digital Arena-Er BS Sran

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has organized digital awareness camps at 3 prime locations in Patiala city to educate the offline consumers about the use of digital modes and its benefits. Properly trained and expert teams visited different PSPCL cash counters located near Bus Stand, Model Town and Mahindra College in Patiala city.This was disclosed by PSPCL CMD Er. Baldev Singh Sran here today in a prèss note.
CMD said that the teams interacted with large number of consumers , who were standing in queues at the cash counters or visited PSPCL cash counters to deposit their electricity bills and guided and motivated consumers about availability of various digital platforms. Teams motivated the consumers to pay their bills digitally, and save their precious time, energy and contribute saved time for the progress of the society.
CMD Er .Sran further added that it’s a matter of pride for the entire state as Punjab is on the top position under digital transactions category in the entire nation since November 2018. Consumers’ confidence in digital payments has made PSPCL the number 1 utility in digital transactions and due to the esteemed consumers PSPCL is collecting more than 659% amount digitally. Er. Sran also appealed to the entire citizens of the state to use cost free digital modes for bill payments.
Er Sran assured that with the able leadership and continued support of Captain Amarinder Singh, CM, Punjab, PSPCL would definitely keep on serving the society with more passion and energy in future too and PSPCL will come out with further new products of bill payments like UPI, Bharat QR etc.
CMD PSPCL Er. Baldev Singh Sran further said that for the convince and awareness of farmers PSPCL has organised various camps in different villages/Areas of Punjab for AP Load regularization in recent past. He said that 2251 number AP consumers were upgraded with a load of 6984 BHP in all operations zones in the state. He said that PSPCL has recovered Rupees 345.76 lacs on account of service connection charges for extension of load from the consumers.
