Orientation cum felicitation ceremony held at Genius International Public School

An Orientation program and felicitation ceremony was conducted for the parents at Genius International Public School, Ropar on April 18, 2026.
The programme started by Vanita Jain CCA Head who welcomed Suba Bhupinder Singh and Gunwant Kaur Managing Directors GIPS along with Bhagwan Singh, school Manager who graced the occasion with his presence along with R. Buvana, Principal and Anita, Elementary head.
This was followed by evoking the blessings of the Almighty upon one and all present through lighting the lamp ceremony. It was followed by the introductory note explaining the changes in the curriculum by R. Buvana, Principal GIPS. She shared that the vision of the Founder of the School Suba Mani Singh she said the motto of the school is value based holistic development of each and every student so that tomorrow they not just become successful individuals but also become responsible citizens of the society. She gave many tips to the parents to be the partner in the holistic development of the children with the teachers. An interactive session was conducted after this on ‘The Effective Parenting Tips’.
Young and Dynamic leader of GIPS Bhagwan Singh also addressed the senate with his golden words. Speaking with the parents he said that the motive GIPS is not only providing the academic education but to make the students equipped with the skills for overall development to compete in this competitive world. He also announced for a trip sponsored by school for the toppers.
This was followed by the address by the HODs who spoke about their subjects. The objective was to familiarize the ‘Parents – Partners in Education’ with the rules and regulations, curriculum and exam structure, sports and cultural activities of the school, giving Parents glimpses into the academics and activity galore of the school.
The school felicitated 7 toppers for their tremendous result in the 10th class board exams in the session 2025-26.
The school has legacy to honour the result topper every year with Shubham Mani Singh scholarship. This year Seerat Preet Kaur was honored with this scholarship and got 40% concession in her school fee.
Parents appreciated the endeavor of the school which has served as an ice breaker laying a wonderful foundation of Parents & School Interaction as co-partners for the success and growth of their children.
The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks by Anita followed by the National Anthem.
