Boost for professional education as S.S.D Girls’ College Bathinda gets nod for B.Sc.-B.Ed. course

S.S.D Girls’ college Bathinda has achieved another significant milestone in the field of teacher education. After successfully receiving approval for the four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. programme, the institution has now also been granted recognition for the four-year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. course by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
This approval reflects the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, quality teacher education, and holistic development of future educators. The newly approved B.Sc. B.Ed. programme will provide students with an integrated curriculum combining science education with professional teacher training, enabling them to build strong subject knowledge along with modern pedagogical skills.
The management, Principal, faculty members, and staff expressed happiness over this achievement and stated that the addition of the B.Sc. B.Ed. course will further strengthen the institution’s contribution towards preparing competent and skilled teachers for the nation.
The college administration also informed that admissions for the new course will be centralized through entrance test as per the guidelines of the concerned authorities and affiliating university.
