Former Rupnagar MC President Indersain Chhatwal suspended from BJP for ‘Anti Party Activities’

The Bharatiya Janata Party today took major organizational action by suspending senior BJP leader and former president of municipal council president Indersain Chhatwal  from the party over allegations of anti party activities. The information was shared through a press statement by Rupnagar Election Incharge  Anish Sidana and BJP District President Rupnagar Ajayvir Singh Lalpura during an important meeting held at the District BJP Office in Rupnagar.

Anish Sidana stated that BJP is a disciplined and ideology based party where party decisions are considered supreme. He said that Indersen Chattwal’s decision to field his wife as an independent candidate against BJP’s official candidate Jasbir Kaur in the Rupnagar Municipal Council elections was a direct violation of party discipline. He further informed that a detailed report regarding the matter was sent to the party high command, following which approval was granted to suspend Indersen Chattwal from the party with immediate effect.

Sidana said that BJP will not tolerate any kind of factionalism, rebellious attitude, or anti party activities at any cost. He appealed to party workers and leaders to work unitedly for the victory of the party’s official candidate Jasbir Kaur and strengthen the discipline and ideology of the organization.

District BJP President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura stated that BJP’s brave and dedicated workers stand firmly with the party ideology and the organization remains completely united. He said that some individuals may go against party decisions because of personal ambitions, but such actions will not affect the strength of BJP or the morale of its workers. He added that BJP has always given priority to discipline and organizational values, and all party workers will collectively work with full dedication to ensure the victory of official BJP candidate Jasbir Kaur in the upcoming Municipal Council elections.
