Hoardings surfaced in the home town of chief minister and his bête noir former Punjab cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.  The hoarding credited the cricketer-turned-politicians for making the project, giving Sikh devotees an easy access to the Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara across the border in Pakistan, a reality.

The hoardings, praising Navjot Singh Sidhu , had been put up in the outskirts of the city. One of the hoarding is released by Naujawan Sabha Village Kalyan on Patiala-Nabha road. Earlier also his hoardings were surfaced in Punjab’s holy city Amritsar, describing Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan as “real heroes” for turning the Kartarpur Corridor project into a reality.

The hoardings were put up in the city by Gursewak Singh, a resident of Karkour village, Dera Bassi, whose picture was also on them.
